US Marlin-Rockwell 1918 Browning, Class III/NFA C&R Machine Gun
A licensed variant of the famed Browning Automatic Rifle, the 1918 Browning Machine Rifle was Marlin-Rockwell’s light machine gun contribution to World War I, delivering an unprecedented blend of firepower and mobility for infantry operations. Features include a blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight, an “M/11-18” marked barrel, and five-line nomenclature with “PATENT APPLIED FOR” markings on top of the receiver. The three-position selector is marked “F A S” (semi/full/safe) with a spring-loaded plunger between the full-auto and safe settings. Fitted with a checkered forearm and smooth pistol grip stock. Accompanied by four additional magazines.
Very fine, with 90% plus high polish refinished blue overall, showing some light spotting, handling marks and dings. The stock is very good, with some cracking in the buttstock, signs of sanding, and mild dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
