Combining a genuine 19th-century rolling block action with 2019 bespoke craftsmanship, documented Birmingham proof, and elaborate Civil War-themed engraving, this rifle stands out as a distinctive collector-grade piece with strong historical, artistic, and long-range target-rifle appeal.
Very fine as professionally embellished by Terence A. Smith, retains 80% plus of the slightly thinned blue finish, showing a plum hue overall and slightly darker near the breech. The action remains bright with crisp engraving overall. The deluxe wood is excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. A beautiful Creedmoor pattern rolling block rifle with a Civil War theme built by the extremely talented T.A. Smith!
