The barrels showcase a single bead sight atop a matted concave solid rib, with dual engraved bands at the breech and German proof marks dating to April 2000 (“4AA”). The barrels are chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells and fitted with automatic ejectors. Chokes are marked “VZ” and “1/2,” indicating precise constrictions for versatile shot patterns.

The barrels are mounted on a coin-finished scalloped boxlock action incorporating the renowned Greener crossbolt and intercepting sears mechanism, noted for its reliability and smooth operation. Beautiful scroll engraving decorates the action, framing two finely detailed game scenes: a pair of running hares on the left and a trio of quail on the right. The left side proudly bears the signature “US,” denoting the master engraver Hans Ulrich Sorg of Merkel.
